PURCHASE DAY

On September 28th, 2021 the Lee County Shared Hope Board convened for the purchasing of the shelter property. 

FIRST WORKDAY

On October 9th, 2021 Members of LCSH INC., community citizens and local officials joined for Shared Hopes FIRST workday on the shelter building. 

FIRST CHARITY AUCTION

On November 19th, 2021 LCSH INC. held our FIRST Charity Auction. We SOLD out of tickets and raised $10,000.00 during the two hour event. 

NAMING OF SHELTER BUILDING

During the November 19th Charity Auction President of LCSH INC. Luke Giddings presented Vice President Frances Drayton with a plaque to be hung on the building. The Board chose to name the building after Frances R. Drayton as she is the founder of LCSH. 

2022 IS OFF TO A GREAT START

In just the first month of the year, LCHS Inc. has already raised nearly $90,000.00 for the shelter from local companies and citizens. 

LCSH & DUKE ENERGY PARTNER

LCSH INC. & Duke Energy partnered together during the two snow storms that hit SC in February 2022. Together we worked to house over 130 individuals. 

LCSH HELPS OVER 100 PEOPLE

During the latest snow storms, Lee County Shared Hope Inc was able to place OVER 130 individuals in rooms with heat during the freezing and snowy weather!  

LCSH 2020 SPRING YARDSALE

On April, 30th 2022 LCSH held our Spring Yardale Fundraiser. We had a lot of volunteers and community supporters purchasing from the sale. It was a SUCCESS! 

LEE ACADEMY SCHOLARSHIP

On May 19th, 2022 President Luke Giddings awarded the FIRST ever LCSH Community Service Scholarship to Madi Motley. The Board voted to reward one student each year from both local high schools with this reward and a $1,000 scholarship. 

LEE CENTRAL SCHOLARSHIP

On May 31st, 2022 President Luke Giddings awarded the LCSH Community Service Scholarship to Vontashia Price. The Board voted to reward one student each year from both local high schools with this reward and a $1,000 scholarship. 

 BACK-TO-SCHOOL BASH

On August 6th, 2022 Members of the LCSH Board participated in the county-wide back-to-school bash. We had a great time networking and connecting with the community!

 GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY

The LCSH Board, Community Members and elected officals gathered to celebrate and break ground on the shelter renovations on Monday, August 8th 2022. 

 DUKE ENERGY DONATION

On September 20th Duke Energy presented LCSH with a $5,000.00 grant. LCSH INC. is very appreciative of Duke and all of their support.
